In-Home Consultation

WHAT IS AN IN-HOME CONSULTATION?

In-home consultations can be undertaken as a one-off service or as the starting point of a longer collaboration.

My consultations are informal, brainstorming-like sessions, where I will come to your house and provide recommendations and suggestions "on the spot" to improve your home. During 2 hours, you will have access to my designer brain and will be able to ask any interiors questions you may have, whether you're aiming for a full renovation, a kitchen or bathroom revamp, or a quick room makeover. Don't be shy: consultations are creative and interactive, and your input is key.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

During the consultation, I will address your concerns, give sensible advice to "solve" your design dilemmas, help you identify the strengths of your home, and how to make the most of them. We might even move some of your furniture around! Overall, I will provide you with a clear vision about your home. I'll leave you inspired, motivated and much more confident about your design decisions moving forward.

HOW TO PREPARE?

Make yourself comfortable at home, put the kettle on, and grab a notepad and pen, so you can write down the advice that I will be giving you on the day. If you have any visuals of rooms or homes you like (Pinterest boards, Houzz ideabooks, magazine cuttouts, etc.), you are more than welcome to share them with me on the day. If you don't have anything on hand, fear not - I will be here to help anyway. Oh, and don't stress if your house is not picture-perfect for the consultation: I'm not there to judge your house or you; I'm there to help your home look and feel right to you.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The up-to-2 hour consultation is $350 for all Perth metro. Additional travel charges may apply to suburbs and towns outside of Perth metro.

The consultation fees can be paid cash on the day, or by EFT upon receiving our invoice at the time the booking is confirmed.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CONSULTATION?

My consultations are a service on their own, not a selling exercise. We can part ways at the end of the consultation as you are not tie you to any other service. I do love receiving updates of the progress you make though!

If you feel that you will need additional help at any time of your project after the consultation, I am more than happy to help! My hourly rate (prorated) will then apply.
